If you are planning on a large project, like a new deck or patio make sure it is functional to what you intend to use it for so you can use the new area to its full potential. Also, divide your larger projects into phases – it will not only be less overwhelming, but more affordable to pay as you go with the options to take advantage of different sales throughout the month.
2. Determine Your Materials:
Whether its gravel, mulch or soil – always try to measure correctly ahead of time. Incorrect measurements of project materials can lead to extra trips to the store to return or purchase additional items, which will add to your costs. 3. Plant Smart:
When planting your flowers or vegetable garden, make sure to group plants into beds so it will be less work to mow your yard. Make sure to choose plants that will grow well in your climate and in the sun or shaded areas of your yard.
